Do you ever look at a wedding photograph and feel a rush of emotion and wonder how on earth those images are achieved? Well, the simple answer is documentary wedding photography.
The emotion of documentary wedding photography cannot be overstated. This approach creates images that transport brides, grooms and their guests back to how they felt in the split second the image was taken. My first reveal of wedding photographs always produces tears of happiness often followed by the statement ‘I don’t remember you taking that photograph’
Whether it’s a split-second smile between a bride and her father, the moment the two grooms glimpse one another for the first time on the day, the bridesmaids knocking back shots in the bar, or the tears of joy of a grandparent in your wedding ceremony.
