Bali Wedding Venues

Bali Wedding Venues

As an award-winning Bali wedding photographer, I am lucky enough to work at some of Bali’s best wedding venues, and believe me, there’s plenty to choose from which isn’t surprising since Bali is one of the popular locations in the world for a destination wedding. This means that it has some truly exceptional wedding venues that allow couples to create weddings that celebrate the magical blend of culture, people, nature, activities, culinary delights and climate that is Bali.

From all the Bali wedding venues I shoot wedding photography at, I have chosen seven to talk about. It was hard to limit it to seven, but I had to be strict with myself. Here they are:

Wedding photography at Wonderland Uluwatu

Wonderland Uluwatu is a new and utterly beautiful wedding space situated on ocean front cliff top land with spectacular views. A flexible venue it offers several unique spaces for weddings. First there’s ‘The Joglo’ which is an ancient hand carved structure with a glass roof that sits high on the Uluwatu clifftop. If you fancy literally saying ‘I do’ on a clifftop ‘The Point’ enjoys the most incredible views of Bali’s white sandy beaches and ‘The Pool’, which is deemed to be one of the most beautiful pools in the world, is flanked by a tent that can accommodate a celebration for up to 150 guests.

When I capture wedding photography at Wonderland Uluwatu, I love taking images of my couples in Wonderland Uluwatu’s pretty Eden Gardens. This natural formed semi-circular garden on the edge of the cliff makes an ideal spot for a romantic photoshoot and the perfect location for some stargazing after dark.

Perched high on the limestone cliffs on Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, the luxurious Ungasan Clifftop Resort overlooks the endless blue of the Indian Ocean. Beautiful and serene, the Ungasan offer four exquisitely designed luxury villas perfect for hosting weddings. Y

ou can choose a lush tropical garden wedding ceremony, a wedding meal on the expansive and perfectly manicured cliff edge lawns. Followed by an elegant poolside reception that sees you and your guests partying under the stars.

When I capture wedding photography at The Ungasan, I love taking images of my couples at the ocean-front bales as the stunning skyline makes an amazing backdrop in my images.

Wedding photography at The Bvlgari Resort

A luxurious mix of Italian style and Balinese forms, The Bvlgary Resort is simply stunning. Wedding ceremonies can be held on an alter on a transparent carpet on the water pond overlooking the Indian Ocean. Or in La Terrazza, an informal outdoor setting ideal for more intimate weddings.

For those looking for a more traditional wedding ceremony the Bvlgari Chapel is stunning. Built in distinctive local Balinese stone with handcrafted ceiling to floor glass work it’s a majestic setting for a wedding ceremony. Wedding receptions can be held on the Pavillion Terrace that sits adjacent to the Chapel that enjoys amazing views of the ocean. For wedding celebrations, the Bvlgari Villa is ideal. The lower level of the private garden features a terrace with gazebo that is perfect for reception drinks. And the upper level boasts a reflecting pool and is ideal for an evening wedding celebration.

When I capture wedding photography at Bvlgari Resort, I love taking romantic sunset images of my couples in LaTerrazza.

Situated on the cliffs in Uluwatu sits Villa Anugrah. This brand-new stylish cliff-top wedding villa at the Southern tip of Bali’s Bukit region is one of the very few locations in Bali, where you can enjoy direct sunsets to serve as spectacular backdrop on your wedding day. Making Villa Anugrah a real favourite with Bali wedding photographers.

Wedding photography at Hanging Gardens of Bali

In the heart of the Balinese Jungle overlooking the Ayung River and ancient Dalem Segera Temple sits The Hanging Gardens of Bali. This multi-award-winning wedding venue proudly holds the title of the World’s first seven stars boutique hotel.

With several spaces around the hotel licensed to host wedding ceremonies, you can choose to say ‘I do’ on a floating platform on the beautiful two-tiered cascading pool which was voted the best swimming pool in the world.
