Fremantle Wedding Photographer.
Let us tell your amazing story.
One of the best things about being a Fremantle wedding photographer is being able to document weddings in this stunning city! This charming waterfront precinct is rich in history with a lively arts and food scene. This makes the perfect location for a wedding in Western Australia. With so much going for it, it’s no surprise that Fremantle has some gorgeous wedding venues that we Fremantle wedding photographers love photographing at. So, let’s talk about some of my favourites.
The Guildhall Event Space sits in the heart of North Fremantle. This grand heritage building has been lovingly restored and re-imagined. It has three distinct areas perfect for weddings including a bar that seamlessly blends indoor and outside spaces. A sumptuous lounge with designer furniture and a pretty hidden courtyard that doubles up as a dance floor under the stars. The Guildhall in Fremantle can accommodate 64 guests seated and 120 standing. When I document weddings at The Guildhall Event Space in Fremantle, I love the dramatic interiors of the lounge and the elegant bar area that both give me amazing backdrops, which as a Fremantle wedding photographer I can’t get enough of.
If you’re looking for a casual yet elegant wedding venue with vintage décor then you should definitely check out Moore and Moore Café. Sitting in the heart of Fremantle, this culturally relevant building has a hidden courtyard and candle lit rooms both providing really beautiful and atmospheric spaces to host your wedding in Fremantle.
Moore and Moore Café is a great wedding venue for foodies as they have a fantastic food philosophy of high quality, organic, locally sourced food cooked in exciting ways. The experienced team at Moore and Moore can cater for all kinds of wedding from intimate elopements, to cocktail receptions right through to three course sit down meals.
When I photograph weddings at Moore and Moore Café, I love the soft light given off from the candle-lit rooms (us Fremantle wedding photographers are total geeks when it comes to talking about light) The light gives me a soft focus to play with to create beautiful storytelling images of my couples and their guests. Here take a look!Assembly Yard sits in the heart of Fremantle and is large event space flooded with natural light, nestled against a backdrop of beautifully landscaped gardens. It has a pretty courtyard with lots of fig and olive trees and flowering rosemary, making it a treat for all the senses. Beyond the gardens are a backdrop of gum trees from neighboring Booveembara Park.
Assembly Yard is a clean slate for you too add your style, theme and personality. One of the many things I love about shooting wedding photography at Assembly Yard is that it seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces allowing wedding guests the freedom to relax and spill outside. Giving me so many opportunities to get natural candid images of wedding guests enjoying themselves.
The last Fremantle wedding venue I want to talk to you about is Kidogo Arthouse. Ask any Fremantle wedding photographer and they’ll tell you that Kidogo Arthouse is a fantastic wedding venue. This limestone building just a stone’s throw from the Indian Ocean is a versatile space. A must for creative spirits looking to have their wedding done their way.
Kidogo Arthouse has four diverse function rooms. They are the cosy and atmospheric Kelp Bar and Kitchen that can accommodate up to 20 guests. The White Gallery, that is accessed through a quaint hole in the wall, it is so called because it has white walls and a white floor so is a blank canvas for you to style however you want, or just leave it bare for an elegant minimalist look. It seats up to 50 guests so is ideal for an intimate wedding. The Kidogo Arthouse Deck that sits on Bathers Beach with spectacular views across the Indian Ocean. It can accommodate up to 100 guests. The Large Gallery has exposed beams a rustic wooden floor. Perfect for a sit-down meal for up to 70 guests or a standing cocktail reception for up to 130 guests. When documetning weddings at The Kidogo Arthouse I love getting gorgeous images of my couples and their guests on the deck as the sunsets over the Indian Ocean.

“When it comes to Wedding Photography, they are forever, they are permanent, they will be the only thing that can give you that ecstatic feeling again after your day rushed over in a blink, and they’ll become the only pieces of pride and joy you take away with you from your Wedding Day. Jacob was able to make us feel more relaxed and comfortable yet the results came out breathtakingly beautiful – as though we were the most photogenic couple but really it was Jacob who did all the work behind the scenes. I can’t recommend or even thanking Jacob enough for being our photographer for our Wedding. Jacob’s work really is our pride and joy, our highlights and everything we want to remember of our Wedding.
