One of the things I love best about being an award-winning wedding photographer is getting to capture weddings at the Pan Pacific. Lisa and Mark chose the perfect venue for their gorgeous wedding in Perth.
On the day, I got there early so I could catch up Lisa and her bridal party as they got ready. Lisa looked amazing in an off-shoulder long sleeve lace Martina Liana wedding dress with a long train from Tuscany Bridal. Lisa’s hair and make up had been done by the very talented Ashleigh Pierre and her bouquet of roses and orchards completed the look. Lisa looked every inch the fairy-tale bride and beamed all day. Mark looked very smart with his grooms’ party in black suits. It was a look of old-fashioned glamour that really suited the style of the wedding.
The wedding ceremony was held at St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Subiaco. This stunning church has a majestic feel with high ceilings and marble floors and it has tons of natural light which is always music to the ears for any wedding photographer. As we can play with the additional light to create even more beautiful images.
Pan Pacific Hotel Wedding Reception
After a beautiful ceremony everybody headed to Pan Pacific for the wedding reception. On arrival guests enjoyed a champagne and canapes reception before guests were seated. Lisa and Mark had a super cool entrance with dance moves that impressed their guests!
When it came to entertainment at this wedding, Lisa and Mark were leaving nothing to chance. For evening entertainment, they booked the lion dancers from the Chanh Tin Lion Dancing Troupe who wowed the guests.
Throughout the reception there were several special moments, one in particular was when a video of one of Lisa’s bridesmaids from Melbourne was played in which she gave a lovely heartfelt speech.
Their MC John had Lisa and Mark play several games in front of their guests which brought about a lot of laughs everyone.
My favourite moments of the day were taking Lisa and Mark outside into the beautifully manicured Supreme Court gardens (one of my favourite Perth wedding photo locations!) to get some romantic portrait images of them. The low evening sun was shining through the trees which was so whimsical and romantic.
In Conclusion…
I loved capturing this stunning wedding at Pan Pacific for Lisa and Mark. A gorgeous and stylish wedding at a beautiful wedding venue. Congratulations guys for getting married and creating such a wonderful day for yourselves, your family and your friends to remember. I hope my images will enable you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
I’ll leave the last words to Lisa and Mark. Here’s what they said about working with me.
“We would recommend Jacob a million times over to everyone. His photos speak for themselves, his creativity really shows through in his photos. Not only are his photos great but how easy-going he was with us was great too. His friendly personality really made us feel comfortable and the funny things he made us say just to get a laugh out of us were great.”
