Singapore Wedding Photographer

As a Singapore wedding photographer, I always love returning to this sunny tropical island in Southeast Asia. An island, a city, a nation and a state Singapore is a truly unique location that is perfect for a destination wedding.
With a ‘something for everyone’ culture, Singapore is a melting pot of multi racial heritage in a tropical climate which has made it a magnet for history buffs, culture junkies, nature lovers, back packers, city trippers, trekkers, discoverers and sightseers.
Popular Singapore sights include the world famous ‘Gardens by the Bay’ which is a beautifully designed green space with vibrant plant life with an iconic futurist look. Or the Botanical Gardens that have been credited UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Opulent Marina Bay Sands resort complex includes a high-end luxury hotel, a mall, museums and has a canal running through it, its Skypark Observation Deck is a fantastic vantage point for views of the entire city.
Or take in the world’s only ‘Night Safari’ or go trekking on a tree top walk on the MacRitchie Reservoir.
As an experienced destination wedding photographer, I can certainly see the benefits of choosing a wedding in Singapore. A warm climate, rich culture, vibrant city and tasty and exciting food are all the ingredients you need for a fantastic wedding abroad.
Award-winning Singapore wedding photographer

A destination wedding turns a wedding day into a wedding adventure. And it’s an adventure that you get to take your loved ones along with you. Taking your wedding from a few hours in a familiar setting to at least a few days of something exciting and new.
A destination wedding in Singapore combines an incredible honeymoon location with your wedding day. There will of course be loved ones who can’t be there with you, which makes it all the more important for you to have beautiful and timeless images of your wedding adventure to show them on your return.
When I shoot destination wedding photography in Singapore, I always allow a couple of days either side of your wedding. This covers off any delays, climatises me to a new time zone, and gives me a chance to familiarise myself with the venue so that I can seek out all the best locations for wedding photos. I watch how the light interacts with the setting and see what time the sunsets, the time of the tides, and how quick light fades to darkness.
Of course, there are many amazing wedding venues in Singapore but I have chosen my favourite three to talk to you about. They are detailed below:

Candid wedding photography at Chijmes Hall in Singapore
This 19th century neo gothic styled chapel sits in the heart of the city and was built in 1901. Photogenic Chijmes Hall is a favourite with Singapore wedding photographers. Internally it has high ceilings and beautiful stained-glass windows that throw abundant natural light around the room. The ceiling is adorned with elegant crystal chandeliers and its columns and corridors bear detailed motifs of flowers and birds.
I especially love ‘The Brides Room’ at Chijmes Hall. This elegant and comfortable suite is fitted with all the necessities and is the perfect space for brides and/or grooms to get ready and for Singapore wedding photographers to capture those all-important prep images.
So, if you’re looking for a truly iconic Singapore wedding venue that is rich in history and charm, then it has to be Chijmes Hall.

Documentary Wedding photography at Wheelers Estate in Singapore
Situated on two acres of land, Wheeler’s estate specialise in outdoor weddings with their ‘weddings under the stars’ wedding package. Outdoor wedding ceremonies always add an extra movement and dynamic to weddings that works really well with my documentary style of photography.
The statuesque black and white colonial building has been preserved with elegant interiors. The perfect wedding venue for couples looking to have their wedding done their way, Wheelers Estate offer great flexibility with a number of different wedding ceremony locations.
Whether you chose to have a boho wedding in the woods, or to say ‘I do’ in their elegant pavilion or go for an English style wedding on their beautifully manicured lawns, there really is something for everybody at Wheeler’s Estate.
So, if you’re looking for an English county house style wedding that you can stamp your personality on, then Wheeler’s Estate could be the perfect wedding venue for you.
Creative wedding photography at Tanjong Beach Club in Singapore
Singapore has beautiful beaches so if you’re looking for a wedding ceremony standing barefoot with the sand between your toes and the sea breeze in your hair then take a look at Tanjong Beach Club. This tropical paradise is just minutes from the city centre.
Tanjong Beach Club offer great flexibility with several wedding spaces that can accommodate everything from intimate and elopement weddings through to large lavish affairs. The Restaurant Bar accommodates up to 20 guests, the Dining Terrace up to 32 guests, The Dining Room up to 48 guests and for large weddings you can hire the entire venue to accommodate up to 350 guests, making Tanjong Beach Club the perfect venue for large and Asian weddings.
Tanjong Beach Club is popular with Singapore wedding photographers because of its stunning ocean views that are perfect for romantic sunset images of wedding couples. Also, this luxurious wedding venue really ensures that guests relax allowing me to capture really authentic and candid images of my couples and their wedding guests enjoying themselves.
The experienced team at Tanjong Beach Club will guide you through every aspect of planning your wedding, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day knowing that your beachside wedding is in safe hands.
I hope this blog has been helpful to you. These venues are all magnificent but don’t just take my word for it. The most fun part of planning a wedding is getting to visit beautiful wedding venues in stunning destinations so have fun with it. And when you’ve found that perfect Singapore wedding venue, you’ll be looking for a Singapore wedding photographer.
