A traditional Malay wedding is a celebration of love and culture. It is a time for family and friends to come together to witness the union of two individuals in a ceremony that is steeped in tradition and symbolism. A key element of this celebration was food of course. Dianah’s family played an important role in the preparation of many of the dishes. They began preparing the food from early in the morning, it certainly made it hard to work when the aromas from this delicious food were in abundance.
